Sad news

With great sadness we mourn the loss of three of our leaders. We extend our sympathy and condolences to their families and friends.

We remember them with gratitude.

At the AGM on November 14, members elected Stephen Bennett as Chairman for the next two years, a role he was delighted to resume when Judy Rix completed her successful term leading an expanded and improved Haslemere U3A.
Michael Foster, a new resident of Haslemere, was elected Honorary Treasurer when Peter Howard stepped down after a good many years sterling service, and Jane Martin was elected as a new general member, taking over from Sue Wright the responsibility for accommodation. Jan Millington has taken on groups coordination. Other committee members will continue to serve, although there is still room for one more general committee member.
