Ambling is a self help group, with members taking it in turn to lead
about one walk during the season. After each amble a local hostelry is
generally visited for lunch. For details of the organiser click
here.
Walks generally start at 10.30am. Please arrive early enough to order
food if necessary.
It is requested that all walkers carry with them the details
of their address, next of kin and any medication that they are on. It is
a good idea to have an ICE number in their mobile phone directory.
ICE stands for 'In Case of Emergency'!
For those who wish to, the following link shows you how to add the necessary to an Android or I-Phone:

Where possible the Directions include a link to the streetmap website to enable members to view and print scalable a map of the destination. Postcodes, when known, are shown, but take care using these with Satnav as they sometimes mislead! The map is more accurate in all cases. A link to the website of the venue is also given where known.
Please advise leader(s) of walks if you are Walking or just Lunching so they can advise the Venue. The leader will respond to an email to confirm its receipt.
