Ambling is a self help group, with members taking it in turn to lead about one walk during the season. After each amble a local hostelry is generally visited for lunch. For details of the organiser click here.
Walks generally start at 10.30am.

Where possible the Directions include a link to the streetmap website to enable members to view and print scalable a map of the destination. Postcodes, when known, are shown, but take care using these with Satnav as they sometimes mislead! The map is more accurate in all cases. A link to the website of the venue is also given where known.

Please advise leader(s) of walks if you are Walking or just Lunching so they can advise the Venue.

September 26th Eric and Robyn Greenyer (654336) Around Woolbeding
Directions: go through Midhurst and at the roundabout at the end of the High Street turn right on to the A272 signed Petersfield. Shortly after passing the Half Moon pub the turning to Woolbeding is signed and on the right. There is a small car park immediately on the right after the turning, where we shall meet to start our walk (Click for map). Alternatively you can turn right before you go into Midhurst signed Woolbeding and come in at the other end then the car park will be immediately before the A272. There is also room for a couple of cars just before the bridge. I think it would be helpful if some could share lifts as it is a small car park.
For those who'd like to, we shall have lunch at The White Horse, Easebourne (Click for menus) which is on the way back to Haslemere. After leaving Midhurst go straight ahead at the roundabout just after the bridge and after about half a mile there is a sign on the left to The White Horse.
