Group: Cycling for fun
Cycling for fun is a self help group, with members taking it in turn to lead about one ride during the season. All types of bike are welcome; it's non-competitive, with a stop near the top of each hill for everyone to catch up
Rides generally start at 10.30am for short rides or 10.00am for long rides, generally 2nd Tuesday and 4th Thursday of each month. Rides are graded according to the terrain: Grade 1 for flat or nearly flat to Grade 4 for steep hills,
All planned rides will be subject to suitable weather conditions and may be cancelled, advanced or postponed by the Ride Leader, sometimes at short notice. It will be their decision.
Where possible the Directions include a link to the streetmap website to enable members to view and print scalable a map of the destination. Postcodes, when known, are shown, but take care using these with Satnav as they sometimes mislead! The map is more accurate in all cases. A link to the website of the venue is also given where known.
