First Aid organised by British Red Cross
Friday 15th March 2pm to 5pm and Friday 3rd May 2pm to 5pm.

The British Red Cross offer a series of afternoon sessions aimed at giving you the confidence to react correctly to an emergency. The courses will contain some hands on practice with a break for tea and discussion half way through. Sessions are for up to 15 members at a time, more sessions may follow subject to demand.

Attendance Fee is £2.00. Venue is Haslemere Hall Annexe.

Excursion to Bletchley park - Monday 18th March

This visit is to the Park, Mansion and restored iconic codebreaking huts 3 and 6, where Enigma messages sent by the German Army and Air Force were decrypted, translated and analysed. Learn how it was to work there in WW II, through interpretive exhibits. Listen to the codebreakers, men and women, telling their stories about their vital work. The Coach leaves Haslemere at 9.15 am and returns about 6.0 pm. Cost £32.50 per person. Those wanting to go should contact Don Stacey asap by email - donstacey32@gmail.com

Inter U3A quiz challenge & cream tea - Friday 22nd March 2.0 to 5.0 pm

Victoria Hall. Hartley Wintney. Fleet and District U3A have arranged this event once again for Friday 22nd March at the Victoria Hall Hartley Wintney, from 2.0 to 5.0 pm. Haslemere U3A have entered a team for the last two years, for what has proved to be a very enjoyable afternoon. We would like to enter a team of six again this year.
